MARGOT ROBBIE DEFENDS HER LOVE OF HEAVY METAL AND SLIPKNOT
Did Cait Blanchett roast Margot Robbie for liking heavy metal and Slipknot? During an appearance on The Graham Norton show, Robbie was asked if she was ever goth. She talked about her emo phase, but said that she only ever really listened to heavy metal. That’s when Cait Blanchett started her bizarre line of questioning, which has now pissed off the metal community (just look at the comments on the video below). Blanchett asked “Does anyone like heavy metal music? Was that something you genuinely liked? Do you like monster trucks and things like that?”
Robbie then talked about meeting many of her soap opera fans at a Slipknot concert and the unexpected crossover in the fanbases which prompted Blanchett to throw in one last little rib saying, “So it’s family listening.”
Honestly I think Blanchett was just joking around or maybe she’s just really into punk. What do you think?
JAMES HETFIELD IMPERSONATORS ARE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR RICHES
James Hetfield warned Metallica fans that there are people impersonating him online and trying to scam you out of money. He reminds fans that he is not on social media at all. So if Hetfield hits you up on snapchat and asks you to transfer some Bitcoin for him, just ignore IT.
KERRY KING FROM SLAYER HATED LIMP BIZKIT SO MUCH, HE ALMOST QUIT MUSIC
I love Limp Bizkit. You know who hates Limp Bizkit? Kerry King from Slayer. At least he used to. An old interview from 2017 has been making the rounds recently where King lamented his disdain for the nu-metal daddies.
In 1998, Slayer was trying to keep up with what was popular and released their Diabolus in Musica album, which was more nu-metal than thrash and disappointed most fans as well as King himself. King said "I was really jaded for a while back in the late 90s, I couldn't understand why Limp Bizkit was big. It affected me — I didn't want to play music. I thought, 'If this is the way that music's going, then fuck this, I hate it'.
King said he was so bitter about it that he wasn’t as involved in making of Diabolus and it’s his least favorite Slayer record. It’s definitely Slayer’s most-hated album overall, but I honestly think theres some bangers on there. I wonder what Fred Durst would think of it though.
