5 NEW SONGS THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED
1) Halsey, Dave Grohl - “Honey”
I know calling Halsey anything rock adjacent sounds weird, but her new album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power was produced by Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails and the track “Honey” features Dave Grohl on drums. So that’s some pretty substantial rock firepower.
2) Jasiah, Travis Barker - “Right Now”
Fast rising artist Jasiah is continuing his string of explosive singles with his fiery new song, "Right Now," featuring who? Can you guess? You said Travis Barker, I know it. Jasiah has been posting previews on TikTok that have millions of views already, so I have a feeling this track is gonna explode. This is the duo's second collab together.
3) Poppy - “So Mean”
Poppy is back with another 90’s alt-rock inspired track. I’m really digging the direction she’s headed in right now. I know her whole schtick is that she’s genre-less, but these new songs almost remind me of Hole and are a lot of fun and I’m hoping she continues with it.
4) The Summer Set - “Street Lightning”
Pop Punk/emo favs The Summer Set have reunited and released their first new song in 5 years. The track “Street Lightning” leans heavy on the indie-dance pop Walk The Moon energy and it’s super fun. No word on a full album yet.
5) State Champs - “Just Sound”
State Champs have returned with classic sounding pop punk track “Just Sound.” The band will be headlining the Pure Noise Records tour alongside Four Year Strong, Real Friends, Bearings and Just Friends. The tour kicks off on September 14th
